Centenario Tequila Celebrates El Tri with Limited Edition Bottle and Fan Powered Anthem

As Mexico prepares to face Ecuador this Tuesday, June 30, on the world's biggest fútbol stage, FIFA World Cup, Centenario Tequila is celebrating El Tri with two World Cup inspired initiatives centered on fan pride and Mexican culture.

The Official Tequila of the Mexican National Team has unveiled Tri-Nation Fútbol Reposado, a limited edition expression crafted to honor the 2026 FIFA World Cup and its three host nations: Mexico, the United States, and Canada. The reposado is aged using oak sourced from each host country, with a special-edition bottle paying tribute to Mexico's football heritage.

Centenario has also launched "Canta y No Llores," a fan-powered remix of the iconic Cielito Lindo created in partnership with Mexican-American DJ and producer Deorro and legendary goalkeeper Memo Ochoa. The track was built using thousands of fan-submitted voice messages collected through the brand's "Memos for Mexico" campaign, reimagining one of Mexico's most recognizable anthems into a modern soundtrack for the summer of fútbol.

Together, the limited-edition release and remix highlight how music, culture, and fútbol continue to bring fans together as Mexico begins its World Cup journey.
