The 2025 Latin Grammys delivered a night charged with emotion, artistry, and the kind of unforgettable moments that remind us why Latin music continues to shape culture worldwide.

From outstanding performances to heartfelt wins and unexpected collaborations, the evening felt like a celebration not just of music, but of community, identity, and creative evolution.

Here are some of my favorite moments of the night. The ones that stayed with me long after the lights dimmed in Las Vegas.

  • The ceremony opened with a Mexican-flavored medley led by rock icon Carlos Santana, Maluma — who also served as ceremony co-host. Christian Nodal, Édgar Barrera, and Grupo Frontera, who performed “Oye Cómo Va,” “Corazón Espinado,” and “Me Retiro.”

  • Rauw Alejandro took the stage with his band to delight viewers with a journey through some of the hits from his latest album, Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0. A total of 30 dancers joined the Puerto Rican artist on stage to dance to “Khé?,” “Silencio,” “Falsedad,” and “Carita Linda.”

  • A new generation of Mexican performers was at the ceremony: DannyLux, Kakalo, and Ivan Cornejo joined forces to perform “Sirena,” “Tierra Trágame,” and “Atención.”

  • KAROL G and Marco Antonio Solís surprised the audience by presenting their long-awaited collaboration, “Coleccionando Heridas.”

  • 2025 Person of the Year Raphael mesmerized the MGM Grand Garden Arena with a spectacular rendition of two of his greatest hits, “Que Sabe Nadie” and “Mi Gran Noche.”

  • Carín León delighted with a powerful version of his hit “Ahí Estabas Tú.” The singer was joined on stage by GRAMMY winner Kacey Musgraves, who, alongside León, performed their bilingual collaboration “Lost in Translation.

  • Latin GRAMMY winners CA7TRIEL & Paco Amoroso surprised with a medley of “El Impostor,” “#Tetas,” “La Que Puede, Puede,” and “El Día Del Amigo.” On stage, the Argentine duo was accompanied by four bodybuilders and two mountaints made of Amoroso’s iconic blue cap and CA7RIEL’S red heart vest.

  • Multiple Latin GRAMMY winner Bad Bunny performed “Welita” along with indie Puerto Rican quartet Chuwi, who later presented “Tikiri.”

  • Multiple Latin GRAMMY winners Los Tigres del Norte closed the night with “La Lotería.”
