Xavi Kicks Off Highly Anticipated ‘X Tour’
Xavi has officially launched his long-awaited X Tour with two sold-out shows between Phoenix and El Paso, delivering a powerful, story-driven performance that blended música Mexicana with the visual world of a live-action video game. Promoted by Live Nation, the night kicked-off with fan-favorite tracks “Modo DND,” “Poco a Poco,” “Ya Te Superé,” and “Flores,” Xavi set the tone for an explosive kickoff to the tour.
The energy inside the El Paso County Coliseum last night only intensified as he performed some of his biggest global hits, including “La Víctima,” “En Privado,” “Corazón de Piedra,” and “No Capea.” He closed the show with “La Diabla,” sending the crowd wild as the entire venue sang along.
At the heart of the X Tour is a cinematic, video-game-inspired storyline where Xavi transforms into an avatar and journeys through different worlds to reclaim his stolen voice from a mysterious woman. Joined by his band, each portrayed as characters with unique abilities, he overcomes challenges and learns new lessons as he advances through each “level” of the show.
In addition to the tour's explosive kickoff, Xavi continues to build momentum with the recent success of his global hit “No Capea” with Grupo Frontera, which recently hit #1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart, as well as #1 on Mexico’s General and Popular radio charts. These milestones highlight the song’s wide-reaching cultural impact and its continued growth across key markets.
